An 85-year-old man is in hospital after being hit by a van on a retirement housing complicated. A white van hit a pedestrian on Monday, October 6, on the Summerhill Home complicated in Newport and did not cease, in keeping with Gwent Police.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with accidents, the place he stays in a secure situation. “It occurred on Monday, October 6, between 4pm – 5pm, on the Summerhill Home complicated, off Albert Avenue.
“It concerned a pedestrian and a white van. The pedestrian, an 85-year-old man, was taken to hospital with accidents the place he stays in a secure situation. The van did not cease.
“We wish to converse to any witnesses, or anybody who has dashcam footage, of a white van getting into or leaving the complicated onto Albert Avenue between the hours of 4pm-5pm.”
