9 youngsters had been arrested when a aircraft landed at Heathrow after stories of ‘endangering different passengers’. Virgin Atlantic has apologised for the ‘inconvenience’ after a flight from Los Angeles to Heathrow Airport was disrupted.

The aircraft was met by officers from Met Police when it landed and 9 youngsters aged 17 and 18 had been arrested, on suspicion of failing to adjust to crew instructions and endangering the plane. A Met Police spokesperson stated they had been all launched with no additional motion taken.

The spokesman stated: “9 people – aged 17 and 18 – had been arrested on Monday, July 14, at Heathrow Airport after disembarking a flight from Los Angeles. All had been arrested on suspicion of failing to adjust to crew instructions and endangering plane.

“They had been taken into custody and had been launched with out cost. Enquiries proceed.”

A Virgin Atlantic spokesperson stated: “We’d prefer to apologise to clients for any inconvenience induced following the arrival of the VS008 at London Heathrow on July 14, on account of disruptive passengers being apprehended by the authorities. That is now a matter for the police, and we’re unable to remark any additional. The security and welfare of our individuals and our clients is at all times our prime precedence.”
