An property agent who deserted his luxurious BMW after crashing right into a barrier has been spared a jail sentence.

Scott Morgan, who runs Liverpool property brokers Transfer Residential, denied ingesting alcohol within the run as much as the crash.

Morgan, who has two earlier drink-related driving convictions, misplaced management of his £100,000 electrical i7 M Sport on a motorway as he was driving house from work on a Friday 7 March at 8.30pm.

However he did not name police when he regained consciousness, and as an alternative contacted his spouse who collected him, and solely reported being the driving force 48 hours later.

The courtroom was informed that police solely attended the crash scene as a result of the BMW’s computerized accident detection system despatched an SOS name.

Morgan denied ingesting alcohol within the run-up to the crash and insisted: “I waited for the police however they didn’t present up and I made my method away from the scene.”

At Chester magistrates courtroom, Morgan  pleaded responsible to falling to report an accident.

A cost of inflicting a car to be left in a harmful place was withdrawn.

He was sentenced to a 12-month neighborhood order with 200 hours of unpaid work.

He was informed to pay £199 in prices and surcharge and was banned from driving for six months.

In sentencing, JP Olga Randall described it as a ‘very, very critical offence’.
