A spokesman for Mid and West Wales Fireplace and Rescue Service mentioned: “At 4.20pm on Sunday, August 17, the Mid and West Wales Fireplace and Rescue Service crews from Llanelli, Gorseinon, and Swansea West fireplace stations had been referred to as to an incident at Three Cliffs Bay.

“Crews responded to a fireplace affecting roughly two hectares of gorse and dense woodland on a steep hillside. Crews utilised one prolonged hose reel jet and beaters to extinguish the hearth.

“Crews left the scene at 7.21pm.”
