The UK and Canada have agreed to ramp up AI adoption amongst SMEs, strengthen tech ties and collaborate on semiconductor analysis.
At a G7 assembly in Canada the UK agreed to launch a joint semiconductor analysis community that may convey collectively consultants from each nations to develop smarter and extra energy-efficient chips.
The community has been backed by £1.16m from the Engineering and Bodily Sciences Analysis Council (EPSRC) and will likely be led by Prof Andy G Sellars on the College of Southampton.
