A Belfast Harbour-led consortium has been awarded funding for a feasibility examine into the adoption of autonomous port expertise.
The Northern Irish maritime hub has been awarded virtually £400,000 from the Division for Transport (DoT)’s Sensible Transport Acceleration Fund.
The group will perform a examine on the Harbour’s Victoria Terminal 3 to find out how autonomous software program and {hardware} can optimise fleet operations.
