The ten-year-old boy who died in a faculty bus crash close to Minehead, Somerset, has been named as Oliver Value by Avon and Somerset Police.

Pupils and employees from Minehead Center Faculty had been on the bus which crashed on Thursday afternoon whereas coming back from a visit to Exmoor Zoo.

Chief superintendent Mark Edgington mentioned: “Our ideas are at the start with Oliver’s household at what have to be an unimaginably troublesome time. We’ll proceed to verify they’re up to date.

“Our investigation is now properly beneath method with officers working tirelessly to seek out out what precipitated it.

“This work is more likely to take a while and we’re asking for endurance whereas these inquiries happen.”

The crash occurred between Wheddon Cross and Timberscombe, at about 3.15pm. Tens of 1000’s of kilos have been raised for victims following the incident and members of the group have left tributes on the college.

A spokeswoman on behalf of Beacon Schooling Multi-Academy Belief, which runs the college, mentioned that it will be open at this time (Monday, July 21).
