Police have launched CCTV footage of a person they want to converse to following an alleged sexual assault on a practice travelling from north Wales. The incident occurred on Saturday, October 11, on a service travelling from Rhyl to Manchester Airport.

A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesperson stated: “Do you recognise this man? Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board a practice from Rhyl to Manchester Airport have launched these CCTV pictures in connection.

“At round 1.45pm on Saturday, October 11, a person proceeded to stare at a girl on board. As the girl went to go away the service at Manchester Piccadilly he has approached her earlier than sexually assaulting her. The person left the practice at Manchester Oxford Highway.

Issuing an replace on the investigation they stated: “Detectives consider the person in these CCTV pictures could have data that would assist with their investigation.”
