Two males have been arrested, one on suspicion of tried homicide, following an incident outdoors a pub in Newport.
The 42-year-old man stays arrested for tried homicide stays in police custody alongside a 33-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of affray. They have been each hospitalised because of the incident and their accidents should not described as life-threatening or life-changing.

A spokesperson for Gwent Police mentioned: “We acquired a report of an altercation between two males on Caerleon Highway, Newport, at round 7pm on Sunday 15 June.
“Officers attended together with the Welsh Ambulance Service and the South Wales Fireplace and Rescue Service.
“Each males have been taken to hospital for remedy. Their accidents weren’t believed to be life-threatening or life-changing and have been discharged.
“The 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of tried homicide.
“The 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray.
“Each, from the Newport space, stay in police custody right now, as our enquiries proceed.
