JECO backed in first deal from Regional Angels co-investment fund

British Enterprise Financial institution has backed automated software program agency JECO within the first funding by the Regional Angels Programme’s new co-investment platform.

West Yorkshire-based JECO, which develops automated toolsets designed for online game software program builders and digital creatives, has secured a £960,000 funding led by Video games Angels and that includes participation from British Enterprise Financial institution.

The spherical marks the primary deal from the £7m co-investment platform launched by British Enterprise Financial institution, funded by its Regional Angels Programme and managed by Haatch.

The Regional Angels Programme launched by British Enterprise Financial institution in 2019 with the target of addressing regional imbalances in entry to early-stage fairness finance. In April this yr the financial institution chosen enterprise capital group Haatch to handle a brand new co-investment fund.
