A toddler has tragically died following studies of a chemical scent in a flat. Fireplace crews have been summoned to a property in Barking Street, Upton Park, London after two adults and two kids attended hospital complaining of a chemical odour inside a flat.
Sadly, one of many kids handed away in hospital while receiving remedy.
Round 12 residents have been evacuated from surrounding properties as a precautionary measure while crews responded.

A spokesperson for the London Fireplace Brigade stated: “Sadly, a toddler has died following a hazardous supplies incident in Newham. Crews have been mobilised to a property on Barking Street, Upton Park, after two adults and two kids attended hospital complaining a couple of scent of chemical compounds in a flat. Sadly, one of many kids later died in hospital while receiving remedy.
“Round 12 individuals have been evacuated from surrounding properties as a precaution while crews responded. Specifically skilled firefighters carried out a scientific sweep of the affected property, working to detect any hazardous supplies current and ventilate the scene.
“The primary name reporting the incident was acquired at 1.18pm, and firefighters from Poplar, Millwall, Euston and surrounding hearth stations attended the scene. The incident was over for crews by 4.23pm. The incident is underneath investigation by the Metropolitan Police Service, supported by the Brigade.”
