Man robbed close to practice station as two arrested

Two youngsters have been arrested after a person was allegedly robbed at a practice station. Witnesses reported seeing plenty of police autos in Porth city centre within the Rhondda on Saturday evening.

South Wales Police later confirmed that two 16-year-old boys had been arrested in reference to the alleged theft of a 30-year-old man which occurred earlier that night close to Porth practice station. An investigation is ongoing and police are asking for anybody with data to come back ahead.

Each boys remained in police custody on Sunday morning.

A spokesman for South Wales Police mentioned: “We are able to verify two 16-year-old boys had been arrested in Porth on Saturday evening in reference to a theft of a 30 year-old man which occurred earlier within the night within the neighborhood of Porth practice station.

“They continue to be in police custody and the investigation is ongoing.

“Anybody with details about the incident is urged to make contact – give reference 2500222091.”
