The boy had been reported lacking on Thursday night
The physique of a teenage boy has been recovered from a lake following a significant search operation. West Midlands Police stated {the teenager} was reported lacking within the water at Powell’s Pool in Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, shortly after 6pm on Thursday.
The pressure stated in a press release: “West Midlands Police are supporting the household of the boy at this tragic time. In depth efforts by all emergency providers had been carried out following the boy going lacking within the water.
“Specialist groups had been deployed from fireplace and rescue, ambulance colleagues, and Birmingham Metropolis Council colleagues. Sadly this has resulted within the boy’s physique being discovered and our ideas are together with his household at the moment.”
The loss of life will not be being handled as suspicious at the moment and police are liaising with the coroner.
