Police are interesting for info after a lamb was fatally injured in an incident with a canine.
A South Wales Police spokesperson requested that the homeowners of the canine pictured above to come back ahead “as a matter of urgency” following an incident at round 3pm on Sunday in Ogmore-by-Sea within the Vale of Glamorgan.
They added: “We remind canine homeowners to maintain their canines on leads while out strolling close to livestock in rural areas and on farmlands.
“Sheep worrying is against the law and it’s important that it’s handled as such. You’ll be able to by no means predict the actions of your canine irrespective of how well-behaved or educated it’s.”
One girl who witnessed what occurred whereas strolling together with her companion and their canines posted on social media that the “horrific” incident concerned a canine which was off its lead.
