Razorpay Pilots Agentic Funds Beta with NPCI and OpenAI

Razorpay has partnered with the Nationwide Funds Company of India (NPCI) and OpenAI to launch India’s first AI-powered fee function on ChatGPT.

Thsi permits customers to find and pay for merchandise in a single dialog.

The personal beta, known as Agentic Funds, integrates NPCI’s Unified Funds Interface (UPI) with ChatGPT to allow customers to authorise the AI assistant to make purchases inside preset spending limits.

The function reduces repeated guide authentication similar to PINs or one-time passwords, whereas sustaining safety via NPCI’s UPI Circle and UPI Reserve Pay frameworks, which permit safe pre-authorisation for trusted transactions.

Customers can full purchases immediately inside ChatGPT as soon as they’ve authorised funds via their UPI-linked accounts.

On the International Fintech Fest, Razorpay demonstrated how customers may browse and pay for groceries on Bigbasket inside ChatGPT, and recharge cellular plans through conversational AI within the Vodafone Thought app.
