Southend rogue landlords fined for failing to make repairs

Southend-on-Sea Council has prosecuted two landlords, each of which didn’t act on formal restore notices.

The primary case concerned Habibur Rahman, whose property had widespread damp and mold, fall dangers and a number of other fireplace security failings.

The second prosecution was for Madelaine Murphy of Leigh-on-Sea.
