A robotic walks right into a UFC area, its shiny physique glistening underneath the lights. This isn’t a pay-per-view combat; it’s Unitree Robotics’ G1, a 4.6-foot, 77-pound robotic making its debut in a promotional exhibition sanctioned by UFC president Dana White.



Unitree Robotics, a Chinese language firm based in 2016, has constructed a repute for making agile and reasonably priced robots. Their G1, priced at round $16,000, is a humanoid designed for analysis, inspection and now, apparently, entering into the cage. In contrast to their earlier quadruped fashions which have assisted in search-and-rescue missions, the G1 has a human-like physique with 23 to 43 levels of freedom relying on the configuration. Its joints are powered by a 9,000mAh battery that lasts as much as 2 hours. The robotic’s aluminum and carbon-fiber physique can stand up to falls, impacts and even a couple of punches.

Unitree G1 Humanoid Robot Dana White UFC
Dana White, the UFC’s outspokem icon, met with Unitree reps in early August 2025 to approve this exhibition. Throughout the assembly, White tries to regulate one among these robots remotely and is clearly amused. Unitree’s workforce, led by CEO Xingxing Wang, positions the G1 as greater than only a novelty by displaying off its expertise, together with strolling, balancing and pre-programmed fight strikes.
